Is it safe to order online at Pampered Dog Gifts ?

It is perfectly safe. At PamperedDogGifts.com security and privacy are of utmost importance. We use a state of the art secure web server which utilizes Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology. When you start the checkout process your browser will automatically switch to SSL encrypted mode. This is indicated by a change in the address URL to "https", you may also notice a padlock in the lower right hand status bar. Actually, online credit card orders may be the safest way to place an order because in most cases your information is not seen by anyone. It's automatic and faster.

Ordering online is 100% secure. However, if you prefer to place your order over the phone, please call us toll free between the hours of 9 am and 7 pm EST, Monday - Friday at 877-762-9321.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express. If you are still unsure or don't have a credit card we also provide phone or regular mail check /money order payment. While we don't have dedicated agents to take orders over the phone you are welcome to call our toll free number 877-762-9321 to place your order.

If you wish to order by regular mail with a check or money order, just print out the shopping cart page and send it along with your payment. In order to reduce fraud, payments by check will be delayed until the check has cleared the bank. This could be up to 30 days. Checks and money orders should be made payable to "RNC Web Enterprises" and are accepted in US Dollars only.

We now accept PayPal. Simply select paypal button for payment method.

Credit and debit cards are charged at the time the order is placed, Orders paid by check or money order will not begin processing until the check/money order has cleared. Bounced checks will be assessed a $35.00 charge..

Why was I charged shipping when my gift basket was over $75. Your site says orders over $75 have free shipping.

If I don't like something, can I return it?

It is very important to us that you are completely satisfied with our products. If you are not happy with any unused item you may return them for exchange or refund. Please Note: special order items and personalized items are not returnable. Unauthorized returns, COD, Clearance and postage due returns will not be accepted and will be returned to you. Please refer to our return policy for further details.

For damaged or defective goods, we offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. To receive compensation (store credit) or replacement, you must contact us within 3 days of receipt to make your claim. Please follow the steps in our return policy to receive your credit or replacement.

Why was my credit card declined or why won't my order go through?

Credit card orders are placed through our secure server in real time. The payment information is sent to our merchant account and processed immediately. If the credit card is declined you have an option to re-enter the information or select a different card.

There are several reasons your card may be declined. In most cases it is because the Billing Address you entered does not match what the bank has on file. Your Billing Address is the address your credit card statement is sent to. This verification system protects you against credit card fraud. Sometimes the internet is slow and the transaction is not completed in time. If that happens, try waiting a few minutes and sending the order again making sure you check the following.

1. Make sure you check the correct card - Master Card or Visa

2. Make sure the Billing Address you enter is the same as the address that your bill is sent to.

3. Enter your credit card number without spaces or dashes.

4. You may also enter a different credit card number.

In a small number of cases the issuing bank does not provide AVS information the system needs to confirm the validity of the card. If this is the case, you MUST use another card - resubmitting again and again will not work.

Why didn't I get an order confirmation? Where is my tracking number? Where is my order?

In order to get an order confirmation, you must supply us with a valid, working email address. All successful orders are sent an automatic email confirmation by our secure server using the email provided during the checkout process. If you selected UPS as the delivery, you will receive another email once the order is shipped giving you the tracking number.

On the rare occasions when there is a problem or question with your order, you would be contacted by email, and we would await your response. Email is the main method of contact and having accurate information is essential to providing you with the best service possible. Remember, your information is kept private.

I think my package is lost, what should I do?

PamperedDogGifts does not assume responsibility for lost orders. In the event that an order is lost en route, please email Customer Service at customerservice@pampereddoggifts.com. Depending on the shipping method we will file a claim and are required to wait for the claim to be processed to send replacement items. This process can take up to 2 weeks.

How soon will I receive my order?

Most orders are processed and shipped within 3 business days - please see product details as this varies by item. During the busy holiday season, please allow extra time. Standard shipping will usually deliver your order within 2-3 business days from when the item is shipped.

To ensure a specific delivery date, please email us for a shipping quote. Orders must arrive before 12:00 noon EST to ensure on time delivery.

Please keep in mind that 2 day delivery means 2 business days from the day the order is shipped, not the date you place the order, and next day is 1 business day from the day the order is shipped.

We declare that once a package has been delivered to the shipping carrier that liability of the package no longer lies with Pampered Dog Gifts. We are therefore not liable for lost or stolen merchandise.

Some products have a requested delivery date. Please keep in mind that this date is NOT guaranteed. We will do our best to have the item delivered on your requested date. However, if you used standard shipping, we cannot get the item deivered the next day. Also over the holidays, dont forget to allow 2-3 days for processing and other delays due to carriers overloads. (i.e. you probably cannot get a gift basket delivered on the 26th if you order it on the 24th).

What are the properties of the designer bed fabrics

Luxor Leather


Why Leather? The durability of fine leather means that it stands up to the rigors of daily life, requires minimal care, offers extraordinary beauty, has a rich distinctive aroma, and gives outstanding value for money.

The benefits of a “Luxor” leather dog bed:

1. Resistance to tearing, and puncturing.

2. Good heat insulation. Leather contains a great deal of air, which is a poor conductor of heat. This is an important comfort consideration. Leather remains warm in winter and cool in summer.

3. Resistance to fire. Leather is naturally fire retardant, and is also treated so that it resists heat and flames.

4. Resistance to fungi. Leather is made resistant to mildew, etc. by the incorporation of very small amounts of suitable fungicides.

“Real” Leather? Real leather is a natural product: it breathes, is warm and has individual characteristics, which make each hide unique. Leather will always bear the marks of its natural origin and these characteristics can show as healed scars, neck growth marks, and areas of differing fiber density and hair pore structure.

These hallmarks in no way detract from the wearing qualities of your “Luxor” leather dog bed; they are signs discerning owners cherish when buying a “Real” leather product.

Shade Variation: No two hides are alike and due to the varying grain structure the dyes and finishes penetrate to differing degrees in parts of the hide to give an attractive variation. While every attempt is made to achieve uniformity, this is not always possible. Swatches or samples, therefore, should be regarded as no more than a guide to the color.

Care and Maintenance: It is essential to the life of your “Luxor” dog bed, that it should be cleaned regularly, and at the same time, an accumulation of dirt and grease over a period of time is not only undesirable but obviously the longer it is left, the more difficult it will be to remove.

Regular cleaning of your “Luxor” dog bed, can be done simply, by using a damp cloth, taking care not to soak the leather as this could damage it. Modern leathers are not required to be “fed” and therefore the temptation to apply saddle soap or wax polishes should be avoided. Spray polishes should be avoided at all costs as these contain silicone, and after a period of time will produce a sticky surface

It is vital that any cleaning fluid that does not state that it can be used on leather should not be used. Many of these cleaners have a high alkaline content and can be particularly harmful. It is also important that the methods for cleaning shoe leather do not apply to your “Luxor” leather dog bed, and therefore wax polishes should be avoided.


Caress Fabric

Caress fabric is a very unique fabric that has the look and feel of suede. It is so soft and luxurious, that you are instantly drawn to it. While you’ll agree that “Caress” is irresistibly soft, the uniqueness of this fabric lies within its performance. Exceptional wearability, resistance to staining, and ease of cleaning are just a few of the notable characteristics of “Caress”.

“Caress” is produced with state-of-the-art technology using ultra-fine polyester microfibers (many times finer than silk) that are woven into a fabric that is soft and pliant, yet unusually strong, making it a superior upholstery fabric. The “Caress” ultra microfiber is laminated to a softly brushed, cotton (70%), polyester (30%) backing for additional body and strength.

Quality tests carried out in an ISO9002 accredited laboratory have proven that “Caress” also offers high resistance to wear.

Care and Maintenance:

  1. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight

  2. Remove any dust or dry stains with a vacuum cleaner and soft brush attachment every 10 days.

  3. To preserver the beauty of “Caress”, it is advisable to treat any stains before they become too ingrained so that the abrasive and prolonged treatments are avoided.

Beds with removable covers:
All removable covers can be machine washed separately using the cold or warm water setting on a delicate cycle.

  1. Use a mild detergent that does not contain any bleach of any sort.

  2. Do not pour the detergent directly onto the material.

  3. Spin dry, or tumble dry at the lowest possible setting.

  4. Do not twist or wring.

Prompt attention is advisable as soon as the fabric has been stained. In the case of difficult or unusual stains, expert advice should be sought. “Caress” can also be professionally dry-cleaned

Note: Caress may shrink if tumble dried at a warm setting.

Beds with fixed/non removable covers:
When it is not possible to remove the cover, observe the following cleaning procedures:

  1. Remove light stains or dirt, and brush with a suede brush.

  2. Dab stubborn stains with a soft, clean white cloth or absorbent paper towel.

  3. If solvents are required, avoid applying them directly onto the stain; the solvent should be poured onto a clean cloth and any type of treatment should be first tried on a concealed part of the bed.

  4. Clean the stain using a circular motion working from the outside inwards.

  5. After removing the stain, dry immediately with a hand held hairdryer using a cool setting. Take care to direct the air stream first towards the outside of the area working inwards.

  6. Always be careful to rub any stains gently and to use a brush with soft bristles.

Water Soluble Stains:
Wash with a neutral soap (such as Neutrogena) and water solution, then dab with diluted alcohol (90:10) or you may use a 50:50 solution of water and white vinegar. Excessive rubbing is not necessary or advised, a blotting action is recommended. Remove excess soap or vinegar by dabbing clean water with a clean cloth.

Oil Based Stains:
Dab with turpentine sparingly, using a soft, clean, white cloth. Once the stain has been removed, blot again with a dry cloth to remove any residue chemicals or liquids. Never use acetone or other nail polish removers

Comfort Fabric

Every “Comfort” fabric meets the California Bureau of Home Furnishings flammability requirements, giving you peace of mind.

Care and Maintenance:

  1. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight

  2. Remove any dust or dry stains with a vacuum cleaner and soft brush attachment every 10 days.

  3. To preserver the beauty of an “Comfort” fabric, it is advisable to treat any stains before they become too ingrained so that the abrasive and prolonged treatments are avoided.
